I am a published poet, flash fiction and short story writer residing in Dublin. I am currently working on the rickety bones of a first novel. In my previous life, I worked as a science journalist and was published in New Scientist and The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Awards & Achievements

Assistant Editor of poetry and short fiction at the online literary journal The Bohemyth.

Longlisted for the Doire Press 2nd Annual Fiction Chapbook Competition in 2013.

Longlisted for the Over the Edge New Writer of the Year in 2012.

Poem ‘Kisses published in The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, The Daily Mail amongst others on July 16th 2013.

Shortlisted for a Wurlitzer Foundation artist residency grant in Mexico, 2012.

Published nationally and internationally in a range of publications.

An excerpt of my (yet to be published) novel ‘A Telltale Heart’ was shortlisted for Authors Rights Agency competition and read out on Arena on RTE Radio One, September 2011.

Longlisted for the Spoken Ink audio story competition in 2011

Winner of the Daily Telegraph Young Science Writers Award in 2002 – ‘Why women drink the tree crab potion.’
